Ms. Alele is an eDiscovery leader and business strategist with over 20 years of experience. She is a trailblazer and veteran of the legal technology and services industry, with expertise in litigation and practice support, technology implementation, client relations, cloud technology and social media intelligence. Her experience spans complex insourcing as well as outsourcing on high profile, multi-million dollar cases. 

Her foresight, vision and focus are evident in her many accomplishments, which include the implementation of game changing and defensible cost-cutting services and technologies before they became mainstream, when she was the firm-wide Manager of Practice Support at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP (OMM). While at OMM, she spearheaded the Electronic Discovery Task Force, grew and expanded Practice Support Department into a profitable and formidable unit, and consulted with national and multi-national clients on electronic discovery best practices, defensible cost-cutting measures, and leveraging technology in law offices across joint defense teams.

She was President at IMEF International Group Inc., the parent company of IMEF International Petroleum, with offices in four continents, where she was responsible for global operations, policy development, national and regional regulatory issues, and Sub-Saharan African tribal concerns.

Prior to working at IMEF International Group, Ms. Alele was the VP of Client Relations and later became the Chief Financial Officer at an eDiscovery service provider headquartered in Los Angeles, where she was at the helm of Finance and Administration.

She has spoken extensively on the topics of data management strategies and vendor relations. She was a member of Law Technology News (LTN) Editorial Advisory Board, and she served on the client advisory panel of several industry organizations.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University, Los Angeles and a post graduate certificate in Management Development from USC Marshall School of Business.
